There is no requirement to submit pages for your free session. How you use your time during your one-on-one session with your professional mentor is completely up to you and can depend on where you are in your writing journey. 

If you don’t have any pages to submit, you’re welcome to use this time to discuss your writing goals, ask questions about writing or the industry, or have your mentor review a writing exercise from class. You can also request your mentor give you a writing prompt or exercise to work on and complete during the session.
